We have known people who simply fell in love with Ljubljana and Slovenia and never wanted to leave. The city really has an excellent geographical location and is a real piece of paradise on earth. Ljubljana is sure to fascinate you, but if you are nonetheless hungry for more, you are only a short distance away from a round of golf or a walk around Lake Bled, one of the most beautiful lakes in the world. It takes only 50 minutes to get to the Adriatic coast by car. Amazingly, you can enjoy a run down one of the many Alpine ski slopes in Slovenia, Italy or Austria on the very same day. It is a mere 15 minutes by car to the airport, 2½ hours to Venice, 3½ hours to Vienna – no matter where you want to go and what you want to do, everything is just a short drive away!
